Project Refresh Returns to Renew Homes and Hearts

Last Sunday, volunteers from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Singapore Association for the Deaf gathered for another meaningful edition of Project Refresh.

The volunteers rolled up their sleeves to carry out simple yet impactful home refurbishment efforts, including cleaning and decluttering homes for senior residents in Sengkang East.

Beyond refreshing their living spaces, the volunteers also spent quality bonding time with the seniors through engaging activities. From creating their own unique shrink keychains to learning basic sign language from the volunteers, the seniors enjoyed an afternoon filled with creativity, connection, and shared experiences.

Every home refreshed represents a life touched — a reflection of the care and dedication of volunteers who came together to build a more caring and connected community.
