A New Look for an Old Home

This page shares Madam Rozanah’s story and how Project Refresh helped to improve the living conditions of her home.

"Everything was nice when we came back!"

Madam Rozanah was overwhelmed with joy when she returned to a home that had been completely transformed. For years, medical challenges had prevented her and her elderly parents from improving their living conditions, leaving them with a sense of longing for a safer, more comfortable space.

Thanks to the generosity of volunteers and the support of SP HOMES and Young NTUC-North East CDC’s Project Refresh, their dream was finally brought to life.

With great efforts, the home was thoroughly cleaned, given a fresh coat of paint, and furnished with customised pieces to suit their needs. Today, Madam Rozanah’s family can enjoy a cozier, safer, and more welcoming home.
