This page shares Saifudeen's story as an artist with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Saifudeen’s parents began to worry when they noticed him tiptoeing up the stairs. They hoped it was just a phase, but his condition only worsened. At the age of 7, Saifudeen was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
As his condition progressed, Saifudeen withdrew from school, feeling like a burden to his classmates. For a time, he stayed home without purpose until his sister introduced him to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Singapore (MDAS). Through MDAS, Saifudeen discovered his love for arts and design, which sparked a new sense of purpose.
Today, Saifudeen is not only a talented artist, creating stunning masterpieces, but he also serves as an inspiration to others, sharing his story as a speaker at schools and corporate events. He is also one of the featured artists in Shaping Hearts 2021, where his work continues to inspire and uplift those around him.
