Action for Women's Health
On May 11th and 12th 2024, the Action for Women’s Health took place at Our Tampines Hub.
Over two action-packed days, participants were treated to a plethora of activities from Zumba to chair yoga, expert advice, and insightful discussions aimed at empowering individuals to take charge of their health journey.
A highlight of the event was the engaging panel discussion on breast health, featuring Head of SingHealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre, Dr. Veronique Tan, and breast cancer survivor, Pan Ling Ling. Their compelling narratives and insights deeply resonated with participants, highlighting the critical role of regular screenings and early detection in combating breast cancer.
Participants also visited the participating partner booths, gaining invaluable knowledge about cancer and the diverse range of support services available.
We thank all partners and participant for supporting this event and strongly encourage all to take charge of your health today!
